Control technology of roadway with rheological surrounding rock in complex tectonic stress area

Abstract: In order to solve the support problem of the track rise entry in the second mining area of Xigou Coal Mine, with the method of surrounding rock geomechanics parameters test, it was concluded that the track rise entry was located in complex tectonic stress area, and had rheological surrounding rock. Hereby, strength bolt combined with cable support system with full-length prestressed anchorage was proposed to reinforce roadway, then industrial test and mineral pressure observation were carried out. The experimental results showed that the bolt initial pretension force was range from 40 to 80 kN, the maximum axial force of bolt was 230 kN; it was basically reasonable that the cable pretension force was designed to 200 kN, surrounding rock abscission layer and damage were well controlled, the number and length of cable were reduced enormously; the final convergence of two sides was reduced by 80%, the maximum convergence was 152 mm; the roadway daily excavation level was increased, the scientificity and rationalization of support system were verified, which could provide theory basis for putting forward support design of roadway with similar geological conditions.
